The Clos of the Great Rivers

Le Clos des Grandes Rivières is located 10 minutes from La Rochelle and 500 meters from the Vélodyssée route. It is an old farmhouse built a little before the French Revolution under the reign of Louis XVI, where pigs, cows and farmyard animated the daily life of its inhabitants.
You can reach the Old Port by bike in 35 minutes along the Rompsay canal, and also escape on foot along this green corridor.

"We discovered this place of character in 2019, and quickly fell in love with the place. The location was ideal. We were quiet, very close to La Rochelle breathing in the countryside, the canal 300 m away, a bus every hour for its city center, and the shops of Dompierre sur Mer next door.
The main house was suitable for our family, the swimming pool was already present, and all its annexes made it possible to develop our life project.
After more than 2 years of refreshment and redevelopment (also in the garden!) where we have put all our energy and our heart,
it has now become a place of tranquility and rejuvenation.
It's good to live near the big rivers!"
